| :Is the CV shaft easy to brake? Sort of, I have broke 1 tt inner axle (inside the diff) and i broke 1 NA axle straight in half. The TT axle went through tons of abuse. Out of all the guys racing, axles dont seem to be a big issues breaking. Clutches seem to let go far before them hehe. But i learned my lesson using the RPS, then bought a triple disc exedy well worth the $$$$ :What rims and tires on the back you use? They are 5 spoke mustang rims. Found on the sn95 body style GTs and i think most v6 mustangs. Very easy to come across pretty damn cheap. :what RPM you lounch at?
Changes to much to say for sure. When i went the 11.9@122 i was spinning 1st and 2nd but i still dumped it at about 6500+rpms. I was contemplating on dropping it off the revlimiter to build boost but i never got the balls to do it. My buddy does it in his supra (7800rpms lol and now 9k on his new built motor) and he cuts 1.4s in it with about 12psi off the line. RPMs are what breaks shit but if you wanna go fast, be prepared to break it. Just the rule of thumb. I have now bought a lexus sc300 (2jz) that i'm in the process of putting a th400 in and a 72mm turbo setup and going to strip the car down a good bit. Much more options then the nissan. I'm still contemplating selling the Z which i think i will be forced to trying to pay for the new project.
